Once you’ve logged in to the salesmatching tool, you’ll need to send us the relevant data.
The more information you can provide the better. To successfully cross-reference your sales matching data, we require the following:
Essential | Notes |
Email Address | Email address of the customer who made the purchase (Required if entry is without a postcode) |
Postcode | Full postcode of the customer who made the purchase (Required if entry is without a postcode) |
Make | Make of the car purchased |
Date | Date of the sale (preferably in the format - dd/mm/yyyy) |
Site | The dealership that made the sale |
Optional |
|
Model | Model of the car purchased |
Sale Type | Type of sale (e.g. factory order/used/ex-demo/pre-registered) |
Your salesmatching data needs to include your monthly new and used car sales.
To save you time and effort, we recommend downloading the .csv template provided on our salesmatching tool:
Click ‘Download CSV Template’.
Fill the relevant details. Once completed, save as a .csv file. For ease and speed of data processing, we’d recommend using the exact format shown below.
Return to the Carwow dashboard and click ‘Upload CSV’.
You’ll receive an ‘Upload Successful’ on-screen notification if you’ve included the correct data points and the file has been successfully uploaded. If not, you’ll be notified that your upload failed and will be prompted to re-upload the data file. If you need any help at this stage, contact partner.operations@carwow.co.uk.
Once successfully uploaded, we can start the cross-referencing process. You can view their salesmatching report as soon as the data has been processed and may request reports to be sent to them which we can facilitate.
No reports are available if your site is ‘paused’ or ‘off-platform’.
