On the Review Payment Details page, enter the amount you want to reduce the price by in the Amend Purchase Price field. For example, type 100 for a £100 reduction, not the new total. The payment breakdown updates straight away.
How to reduce the price
Start the payment. Go to the payment section for your transaction and click Review and Pay.
Open the review page. Continue until you reach Review Payment Details.
Enter the reduction. In the Amend Purchase Price field, enter the amount to reduce the price by, not the new total.
Check the new breakdown. A new Review Payment Details page shows the updated figures.
Confirm the details. Check all amounts are correct and, for finance deals, that the finance settlement details match.
Complete the payment. Enter the one-time security code from your authenticator app.
Things to know
Reduce the price before you confirm. Make the change before you finalise the payment, so your records stay consistent.
You only need the reduced amount in your Wallet. If you're paying with Wallet funds, the original price doesn't need to be available.
You get an updated cost breakdown. It's generated automatically, so you can pass it to your accounts team.
